Low-alcohol options refer to beverages that contain a lower amount of alcohol than traditional alcoholic drinks. These options are becoming increasingly popular among people who are looking for ways to reduce their alcohol consumption or avoid its effects altogether.

Here are some popular low-alcohol options!

Mocktails

Mocktails are non-alcoholic cocktails made with juices, syrups, and other mixers. They provide a fun and flavorful alternative to traditional alcoholic drinks. We have to admit there are not a ton out there that we enjoy but there are a few we found fun to drink and refreshing which are Kin and Surely.

Light Beer or Non-Alcoholic Beer

Light beer typically has a lower alcohol content than regular beer, with most brands containing around 4% alcohol by volume (ABV). Non-alcoholic beer such as Athletic Brewing Company Craft Non-Alcoholic Beer is a great option for those who enjoy the taste of beer but don’t want to consume alcohol. Many non-alcoholic beers contain less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.

Herbal Tea

Herbal tea is a great alternative to alcohol, as it can be both relaxing and calming. One of my favorite variety packs is from Tea Forte. There are numerous variety packs to choose from. The Tea Forte Gift Set also makes a lovely Housewarming or Birthday Gift.

Wine Spritzer

Wine spritzers are made by mixing wine with sparkling water or club soda, creating a lighter and lower-alcohol alternative to straight wine. Our favorite go to bubbly water being Topo Chico.

Sparkling Water

Sparkling water can be a refreshing and bubbly alternative to alcohol. It can be flavored with fruit juices or natural sweeteners to make it more interesting. We are big fans of Spindrift Sparkling Water because the ingredients are the most natural.

Low Alcohol Wines

Low alcohol wines, also known as light wines or lower ABV (alcohol by volume) wines, offer a refreshing alternative for those seeking a lighter and more moderate drinking experience. These wines typically have an alcohol content below the average range of 12-14% ABV found in most traditional wines. With a focus on balance and subtlety, low alcohol wines allow for extended enjoyment without the same potency or intensity as their higher alcohol counterparts. There are more options coming to the market. An easy drinking variety is the Kim Crawford Illuminate New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc White Wine Lower Calorie and Alcohol. Janay has also enjoyed a subscription to Dry Farm Wines. You can either choose all reds, whites or a mixture of both. They are clean, lower alcohol and leave you feeling great the next day.

Final Takeaway

There are many low-alcohol options available for those looking to moderate their alcohol intake or simply enjoy a refreshing drink without the effects of alcohol.
